Itching and peeling of the tattoo is normal.

Be sure not to pick or scratch the tattoo as it heals. Apply lotion if itchy or pat gently.

Do not soak, swim, or take long showers while your tattoo is healing, as it may cause scabbing or scarring.

Do not tan or expose tattoo to prolong sunlight during the healing process. Apply sunscreen liberally when exposing to sun, to keep your new tattoo from fading.
